St. Paul's Bookstore is open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 2:00
St. Paul's Bookstore opened in 1999, the gift of one St. Paul's family who made it all possible. It is one of the few Christian bookstores in Contra Costa County.
The Bookstore is a bright and spacious place where one can browse through books on healing, spirituality, prayer, grief, Christian education, and family life. Two book groups meet monthly -- the Afternoon Group meets on the second Tuesday at 1:00 and the Evening Group meets on the third Thursday at 7:00. Books on a variety of subjects are discussed. All are welcome.
In addition to Christian books on a number of subjects, the store has a selection of lovely cards and gifts including jewelry, Willow Tree figurines, nativity scenes and decorative items. Beautiful hand-embroidery from the Melia Art and Training Center in Jerusalem is especially popular.
Used Books: Customers are encouraged to donate back to the Bookstore any books purchased at the Bookstore, or any Christian book thought to be of interest. Hardcover books are $3.00, paperback, $1.50.
St. Paul's offers a 15% discount to Clergy and for any Christian books purchased for classes or study groups. We are happy to order books in any quantity. Just let us know!
