Godsquad Summer ’09 Mission Trip

This summer the God Squad will provide more hurricane relief on the Gulf Coast. However, instead of going to New Orleans, this year we will be traveling even farther down south…to Galveston Texas. We will be repairing damaged houses left in the wake of Hurricane Ike. We will leave on July 26 and will return on August 4. While in Texas, we will stay at a local Episcopal Church, make our own meals, and even take a few days to see the sights and “support the local economy.” The trip will include high school youth from St. Paul’s, Church of the Resurrection, St. Timothy’s, St. Anselm’s, and others. Very soon, we will be selling raffle tickets, and possibly having other fundraisers to help pay for the trip.
