Music Ministry
Music plays an important role in our worship at St. Paul's. The Parish Choir is the backbone of the music program, singing weekly at the 10:00 a.m. service September through mid-June. The choir welcomes anyone who enjoys singing, and can make Thursday evening rehearsals and Sunday morning services a priority. Highlights of the year include a service of Lessons and Carols and the Easter Vigil. The choir is also joined by instrumentalists and soloists on important Sundays throughout the year.
The handbell choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:30 during the school year, and is open to youth and adults. Handbells are wonderful, and unique way to worship God through music. Best of all, you don't have to be able to sing a note! Anyone who can count can play bells. Come and give it a try.
During the summer months the Summer Choir sings for the 10:00 a.m.
service.
This group is open to anyone who would like to make a "joyful noise."
We
meet on Sunday mornings at 8:45 to rehearse an easy anthem for the service. This is a great opportunity to give singing in a choir a try, without making a commitment.
