Music Ministry
Music plays an important role in our worship at St. Paul's. The Parish Choir is the backbone of the music program, singing weekly at the 9:30 a.m. service September through mid-June. The choir welcomes anyone who enjoys singing, and can make Thursday evening rehearsals and Sunday morning services a priority. Highlights of the year include a service of Lessons and Carols and the Easter Vigil. The choir is also joined by instrumentalists and soloists on important Sundays throughout the year.

The handbell choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:30 during the school year, and is open to youth and adults. Handbells are wonderful, and unique way to worship God through music. Best of all, you don't have to be able to sing a note! Anyone who can count can play bells. Come and give it a try.

During the summer months the Summer Choir sings for the 9:30 a.m. service. This group is open to anyone who would like to make a "joyful noise." We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:45 to rehearse an easy anthem for the service. This is a great opportunity to give singing in a choir a try, without making a commitment.

Director of Parish Music-Jane Rosenblum

After graduation from college, I embarked on a 20-year career as a registered mental-health nurse. Certified in psychiatric care, I focused on counseling families with children. In 1994, building on a lifelong love of dogs, I began boarding and caring for others' dogs, and soon began my education as a dog trainer; work which I still actively enjoy. In addition to my love of the organ, I look forward to carrying out musical ideas in a receptive, responsive church environment. I enjoy working with with choirs to engage singers’ interests and developing a warm, pleasant choral sound.
